Job Discription 

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. As a Tax preparer, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The role requires expertise in W-2 filing, 1099 forms, tax deductions, and credits to optimize clients' tax liabilities legally.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax strategies, and answer questions regarding their tax situation.
• Prepare and complete various types of tax returns, (Form 1040), business tax returns (Form 1120, 1065), and other applicable forms.
• Provide strategies on tax deductions, credits, and strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize refunds.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and codes to provide informed advice and accurate tax preparation. 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and procedures is essential.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify tax implications, and recommend strategies to optimize tax outcomes for clients.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
• Familiarity with tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, TaxSlayer, and Quickbooks)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
